While available in a wide variety of sizes to meet the needs of customized applications, Insuljac Pipe Jackets are most frequently supplied in 60" lengths of 4" outside diameter. The outer casting is standard white PVC, which is nearly impervious to moisture. It is rigid and highly shock resistant. Within this casing, urethane foam is molded under conditions which provide completely sealed air cells of uniform size and unusually high insulating values, leaving a hollow core of 2" diameter which slips easily over any kind of metallic or plastic piping.

Because of their uniquely high insulating qualities, Insuljac Pipe Jackets are being widely used to protect liquid pipelines, and to eliminate the costs of trenching to below frost levels, particularly where such trenching involves blasting through solid ledge.
